| So I realize that there is a football game on Friday, but it's also Friday the 13th. That means that there will def be a movie night at my house. | So pretty sure that nobody uses xanga anymore...it makes me sad, cuz i can't keep in touch with all my high school friends...everybody should get a facebook, it's way better than xanga anyway.
So the airforce game was way too close for my liking. At least we managed to pull a win out of it. yay. | | |
| So I'm pretty excited right now...I just got my new computer, and it totally rocks! It talks to me, and has a camera, and I love it. Well, maybe that's taking it too far, but you must remember that my family has not had a new computer since I was in the 6th grade. | | |
| So I've been a little lax in my xanga writing (mostly using facebook now), but I will fill you in on my first week as a college student.
I moved in Friday, and it took forever! But I've finally settled in with my new roommate, Anne. She is really nice and from Georgia. I decided to do rush, and suprisingly loved it! We didn't actually start classes until last Wednesday, so it definatly gave me something to do. Basically we had four rounds of "parties" a.k.a. a little time to judge each girl. At the beginning I really didn't know what to expect, and it was a little stressful, but by the end of the week I was having a great time getting to know some of the girls in other sororities. Finally on Sunday, we got our bids, and I got my first choice, DELTA GAMMA!! So we got a t-shirt and some other stuff and went to eat with all of our sisters. Our first chapter meeting is tonight, then we are going to go out after that!
As far as classes, I luckily haven't had too much homework...but we'll see how long that lasts. Hope to see some of you guys at the first football game! | | |
| So...all my dogs are back.
Ginger came home first, but the vet thinks that she got hit by a car, nothing is broken but she is pain meds to get feeling better. Snowy is just fine, he came back second, unharmed, but really tired. Chewy was the last one to get back, some lady out at Riverdale had found him, and called the Humane society, and we had already been out there to tell them we had a lost dog, so they gave the lady our phone number and my parents went to pick him up yesterday. | | |
